Get the Source
Source Repository
The source code for The Render Engine is located at:
You can browse the source, or get more info, by visiting http://code.google.com/p/renderengine/source/checkout.
Getting Involved
If you want to get involved with the project, you'll need to sign up at the Google Code site to get your hands on the source code. Also, send an email to me at brettf@renderengine.com so I can add you to the project. To get added, you'll have to be involved on the engine's discussion group. Hopefully you've got good ideas and great code writing skills.
Tools
Working with the repository will require one of the following tools. To access the code, you'll need one of the following:
- Windows - Tortoise SVN
- Linux - Subversion Command Line
- Macintosh - Versions for Max OSX
I recommend using a good integrated development environment (IDE). For working with Javascript, I would recommend Aptana.
